Housing Action NH is a coalition of organizations engaged in advocacy for policies and resources to ensure that New Hampshire’s low income families are adequately and sustainably housed.
A successful plan to improve accessibility to housing, particularly for families earning 60% and below of area median income, requires strong federal and state investment in the preservation of existing affordable housing, the development of new affordable housing, rental subsidies for low income families and strong policies to support the administration of housing programs. Housing Action NH was developed specifically for this purpose and is working to build and coordinate alliances in effective state and federal level advocacy to improve the housing landscape for low income people.
