Welcome to the Housing Matters Newsletter!

A week is a long time in the legislature. At this time last week, it appeared that New Hampshire was heading towards continued budget negotiations over the summer; however, discussions continued, and a compromise was passed yesterday. The compromise didn’t make any changes to the housing-related provisions in the proposed budget.

As the legislative session comes to a close, our weekly newsletter schedule will adjust for the summer. Going forward, we’ll send out updates on bill signings and federal policy developments as necessary, rather than every Friday afternoon.

We deeply appreciate your ongoing advocacy and support throughout this legislative session.

Here is a rundown of the status of housing-related bills this session.

As always, if you have questions about the legislation we mention in the newsletter or housing-related proposals that aren’t included, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

If this newsletter was forwarded to you, and you want to receive future updates, you can sign up here.

Best,
