Has housing become less affordable over the last forty years? Raven Molloy, Deputy Associate Director at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, will present a general overview of housing affordability conditions in the US and New Hampshire/New England, followed by summaries of her research on how affordability has changed for different income groups and how housing supply regulations affect housing affordability. She will conclude with a brief review of policies that attempt to make housing more affordable. A panel of local housing experts will then respond to Molloy’s presentation.
